To make this Doritos casserole, I started by cooking some lean ground beef in a large frying pan.

I added some diced onions to the pan while the ground beef was cooking.

I dumped some Philadelphia Whipped Chive Cream Cheese, cream of mushroom soup and Heinz chili sauce into a large mixing bowl.

I used an electric mixer to whip the ingredients together until fully combined.

Once the ground beef was fully cooked, I added the ground beef and onion mixture to the mixing bowl.

I stirred the ground beef into the cream cheese mixture.

Then I added some drained black beans and corn to the bowl and stirred again.

I add some chopped green onions, shredded mozzarella and cheddar, salt, pepper and garlic powder to the bowl.

Then I stirred everything together really well.

I poured the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Then I crumbled some Doritos and sprinkled them over the meat mixture.

I sprinkled some shredded cheese and chopped green onions on top of the Doritos.

Then I baked the casserole until the cheese on top was completely melted and just starting to brown.

This cheesy casserole is creamy and delicious and packed with flavour.

Ingredients

• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1 cup yellow onion, diced
• 8 oz Philadelphia Whipped Chive Cream Cheese
• 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
• 1/3 cup Heinz chili sauce
• 8.75 oz canned corn, drained
• 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 bunch green onions chopped
• 3 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar blend
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 3 cups Doritos, crumbled

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with a dab of butter or margarine.
3. Add the diced onions to the pan with the beef while it's cooking.
4. Dump the cream cheese, mushroom soup and chili sauce into a large mixing bowl.
5. Mix with an electric mixer until fully combined.
6. Once the ground beef is fully cooked add the ground beef and onions to the mixing bowl with the cream cheese mixture. Stir well.
7. Add the corn and black beans to the bowl. Stir.
8. Set aside 1/4 cup of green onions and add the remaining green onions to the mixing bowl.
9. Add 2 cups of the shredded cheese to the mixing bowl.
10. Add the salt, pepper and garlic powder to the mixing bowl. Stir until all of the ingredients are fully combined.
11. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
12. Sprinkle the crumbled Doritos on top of the beef mixture.
13. Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheese and 1/4 cup of chopped green onions on top of the Doritos.
14. Place the dish in the oven and bake the casserole until the cheese on top is completely melted and just starting to brown. 11-13 minutes.
15. Serve and enjoy!
